Growing up I had dreams of being a world-famous gymnast. Unfortunately, my family was unable to financially support those dreams. I was given the practical advice to become a doctor, or a lawyer, like most kids. So I went to law school, only to discover that it is not for me. It did not make my spirit smile the way gymnastics did. I decided that when I have children, I would allow them to pursue their dreams, whatever they are.
When my boys were old enough, I asked them to close their eyes and dream. I asked, “What do you see?” One said an illustrator/artist, the other said the world’s best entertainer. As we have worked on their crafts for the past few years, I have met so many parents striving to follow their children’s dreams too. Through these parents, I have found that the most common reason the efforts of dedicated and hardworking kids fail is due to the lack of finances.
Money should not be the reason why a girl who dances, and trains five hours a day, doesn’t become a professional ballerina or a boy who draws and sketches for hours at a time doesn’t become a graphic illustrator. Inspired by a desire to help children who dream, work hard and are passionate, Gifting Dreamers was born. I am passionate about service, education, enrichments and living your LIFE’S PURPOSE!
